Patrick Freedle is a second-generation CPA and tax partner in the public accounting firm of Davidson, Freedle, Espenhover and Overby P.C. (“DFEO”). Patrick graduated from Tivy High School in 1983 and Texas Tech University in 1987 with a BBA in Accounting. In 1996, Patrick returned to Kerrville and joined his father Lucian in practice. Upon Lucien’s retirement, Patrick merged his firm with DEFO in 1998. DFEO currently has offices in Kerrville and San Antonio.
Patrick and wife Nancy have 5 children: Oldest son, Brennan (26), a Texas Tech graduate with degrees in International Business and Finance works in Dallas as a financial analysist and property manager for Goldman Sachs; Daughter Caroline (23) is senior at Texas Tech currently pursuing acceptance to medical school; Son Brice (21) also is a senior at Texas Tech and is pursuing a double major in Accounting and Finance; Son Cooper (17) is a senior at Tivy High School, and Son Hudson (14) is an eighth grader at Peterson Jr. High.
Patrick has served on several non-profit boards, including Hill Country Estate Planning Counsel, Partners in Ministry and Commission to Every Nation. He is in his third term as a KISD school board member. Patrick also currently serves on the board of Kerr Central Appraisal District. Patrick and his wife, Nancy, have actively served and supported Young Life and Wyldlife over their years in Kerrville. Nancy has been an active volunteer with each of her children’s schools in KISD for over 17 years.
