They moved back to Kerrville in 1999 where Andree ended her 25 years in education as a counselor at Tivy High School.
Andree has continued to be interested in the education of young people, establishing a scholarship in memory of her late husband to benefit Kerrville ISD seniors. She devotes her time to her children, one of whom is a teacher in Kerrville ISD, and her six young grandchildren, as well as helping with the remodeling of the homes of family and friends.
