THE 72ND ANNUAL KIWANIS CLUB OF KERRVILLE LITTLE OLYMPICS RESCHEDULED FOR MAY 9TH

The 72nd Annual Kiwanis Club of Kerrville has announced that it will reschedule Little Olympics for Thursday, May 9, from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm at Tivy Antler Stadium. This event brings together more than 1,500 third through sixth grade students from the Kerr County area. Children from Kerrville, Ingram, Hunt, and other surrounding schools will be competing in various track and field events. Seating is on the “home” side of the stadium and concessions and food will be available from the Kiwanis Club at the “home” side concession stand.

“We are excited to have an opportunity to reschedule Little Olympics,” Little Olympics Coordinator and Kiwanis Representative, R.G. Cook said. “This is the first time in the history of the event and my 35 years of running Little Olympics that we have had to cancel. We had many disappointed kids and we are glad we have another chance at letting them compete.”

The Kiwanis club of Kerrville sponsors this event each year as part of its outreach to youth.
