Oct. 5 Proclaimed Kerrville Teachers' Day!
 
During the Kerrville City Council meeting on Sept. 27, Kerrville Mayor Judy Eychner and the City Council designated Wednesday, Oct. 5 as Kerrville Teachers' Day in partnership with other entities across the state and the #TeachersCan movement.
 
Superintendent Mark Foust, Secondary Teacher of the Year from Hal Peterson Middle School Amanda Baehre, and Elementary Teacher of the Year from Early Childhood Center Dana Dunagan were present to accept the proclamation on behalf of Kerrville ISD from Mayor Eychner.
 
KISD thanks the City of Kerrville for recognizing the outstanding work of our teachers and we encourage the community to show some appreciation to our teachers on Oct. 5!
