Tivy High School Senior Bella King might not be enjoying the ending to her senior year and KISD career she envisioned, but that hasn't stopped her from finding joy to spread.
On March 19, KISD made the decision to close school buildings and transition to a Virtual KISD online learning platform in light of the rapidly spreading COVID-19 pandemic.
King recognized that making that pivot from in-person learning to online learning for the almost 5,000 students in the district wasn't an easy task for the more than 300 faculty and staff and decided to find a way to thank the district and staff for their hard work and effort to make the transition as quickly and smoothly as possible.
King put out a call on social media for students and community members to submit videos or photos showing appreciation for the staff of KISD.
The final product is a six-minute video thanking KISD faculty and staff for all the hard work they have put in since Spring Break.
