Tivy High School Athletics
Athletics are an important part of the overall KISD educational program. Participation in a variety of sports instills the qualities of honor, dedication, commitment, integrity, perseverance, interdependence, and self-reliance. We believe that a successful athletics program helps students develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
Thanks to this philosophy, a dedicated coaching staff, and strong community support, Kerrville Tivy athletic teams have achieved outstanding results in recent years.
Parents are required to read both the UIL Handbook and the Athletic Handbook. These items are available in the "Forms" link on the left. In order for any athlete to participate in any sport, all required UIL forms must be filled out and on file at the Athletics Department for that child's campus.
Tivy High School Athletics is pleased to announce a new tool for the upcoming school year. By clicking on the following link
you will be able to see schedules for most of our sports teams and can even sign up to follow them for live information on schedule changes, dates, times and locations.
KERRVILLE ISD ALERTS COMMUNITY, LOCAL BUSINESSES OF OUTSIDE ADVERTISING NOT APPROVED BY SCHOOL DISTRICT
Kerrville ISD would like to alert the community and local businesses of outside vendors who are selling advertising in the name of Kerrville ISD sports teams. Vendors are using Kerrville ISD campus names, sayings, or logos on promotional products that have not been sanctioned by the school district, and the school district receives no funding from these vendors.
KISD’s practice when raising funds involves district or campus staff, PTO, and Booster Club members who make personal contact with patrons. They will clearly identify themselves to patrons as either a student, teacher, administrator, PTO, or Booster Club member. KISD urges the community to be aware of any company who may be selling items such as cups, water bottles, T-Shirts, etc. using KISD logos and slogans.
If one is unsure of the identity of the company or person they are speaking to, they should ask their name, what school they represent, and ask for a call back number. Patrons can also call the campus or district office to verify the vendor’s identity before giving them any money or financial information.
