Hello, my name is Cythia Smith and I am excited about working with your child this year at the Early Childhood Campus.   I love Pre-K and I have worked as an early childhood educator for more than 30 years.  I have been with KISD for more than 5 years and spent 2 years at TCDC.  I was born in Austin and graduated from Lake Travis High School.  I then studied at both Austin Community College and Texas A&I University in Kingsville, where I earned my paraprofessional certificate in 1996.  I moved to Kerr county in 2015 with my husband Shawn.  We have 2 grown sons, Douglas and STeven.  We also have 3 cats named Rufus, Clyde and McFly.  My hobbies include photography, baking, gardening and travelling -- especially to the Austin area and New Mexico!  I look forward to helping you and your child prepare for a wonderful Kindergarten experience.
