Welcome to HPMS!

My name is Jenny Hendricks, and I am the 6th-8th Grade ESL teacher. 

I graduated from Baylor University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in English and Secondary Education. Post college, I spent six years teaching high school and middle school English-Lit in the North Dallas area. In 2003, my husband and I welcomed our first of three children, at which time I began an almost 19-year hiatus from the classroom. I am so very thankful for those years with my own three kids and am now elated to be back in the school setting working with your kids as I start my 8th year of teaching. 

Kerrville ISD is certainly near and dear to our family's heart! All three of our children have attended Tally Elementary, BT Wilson 6th Grade Center, and Hal Peterson Middle School. Our oldest son is a 2022 graduate of Tivy High School. He is now a Sophomore studying Finance and Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas in Austin. Our middle daughter is a Senior at Tivy High School, while our youngest daughter is an 8th grader here at HPMS. I count it a gift to be working with so many of my own kids' beloved teachers, coaches, and administrators.
