I'm Malorie Solis, better known as, Coach Solis. This will be my first year teaching/coaching ever! I graduated from Schreiner University in May of 2023 with a BS in Exercise Science and a minor in Education. I will be working on my Masters in Education starting in the fall. This year I will be coaching volleyball, basketball and track. 

I have always dreamed of teaching and coaching ever since I was a young teenager, so this all still feels so surreal! Being able to help kids develop in all areas comes with many challenges that I am proud to accept on a daily basis. My passion comes from being able to make a difference in a child's life and being able to watch them grow and succeed in life. 

I was born and raised in small town El Campo, Texas - home of the Ricebirds! I have two sisters, one brother, eight nieces and nephews and the best miniature schnauzer named Lenny! I am very family oriented, so being four hours away has been difficult, but Kerrville has become my home away from home! I began playing softball at the age of five and began playing competitively at the age of fourteen. I was blessed with the opportunity to play all four years at Schreiner University as a starting center fielder. Even though my playing days are over, I am happy to be able to stay close to sports by coaching.
