I am so excited to be the ESL teacher at Hal Peterson this year.  I am beginning my 23rd year of teaching. I graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas.

My husband (Coach Bagby, also here at Peterson) and I have two children and 3 grandchildren.  We enjoy spending time with our family. I enjoy reading and cooking.  There's nothing better than curling up with a good book.

Working with middle school students is my passion.  I love to watch them grow and become young adults.  This year, I will have the opportunity to work with the emerging bilingual students here at Peterson.  I will be working in the classrooms, pulling small groups, and supporting the classroom teachers.
