Officer Justin Gonzales began his career with the Kerrville Police Department in 2009.
Gonzalez started out on patrol and worked as aField Training Officer and Evidence Technician before being assigned as a School Resource Officer for three years at Hal Peterson Middle School. Gonzales rejoined KPD in the Criminal Investigations Unit before returning to KISD as SRO at Tivy High School in August 2021.
Gonzales graduated from Menard High School before attending Howard College, where he obtained his degree in Criminal Justice. Officer Gonzales graduated from the Concho Valley Law Enforcement Academy.
Gonzales lives in Kerrville with his wife, twin boys and two dogs and enjoys being outdoors when not serving the community of Kerrville and Tivy High School.
