Mrs. Regina Phillips

My name is Regina Phillips and I am a native of Kerrville and a Tivy High School graduate. I attended Schreiner University where I earned a Bacholar of Arts degree in History with a minor in Political Science. I continued my education at Schreiner earning a Masters of Arts degree in Education in Teaching. After graduating from the Education Program at Schreiner  I attened and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Masters of History.

I began my teaching career at Notre Dame School where I taught ELAR 5-8 and History 5th grade as well as other subjects as assigned. A few years later I left teaching for a rare opportunity to work for the United States House of Representatives. Upon completion of my time with the U.S. House I natually wanted to return to the classroom. I began teaching at Big Springs Charter School in Leakey, Texas where I taught ELAR 5-8, P.E. 5-8, and coached Competitive Cheer for all grade levels. I joined Hal Peterson Middle School last year and I am truly excited and hope to be employed with KISD for many years. Currently, I am attending Angelo State University and seeking principal certification.
