I was born in Quito, Ecuador. I have been living in the USA since 2002. After finishing my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in Honduras, I moved to Indiana to pursue my Masters degree. I obtained a Master of Science in Forestry Biotechnology from Purdue University. Worked for VirginiaTech for a couple of years, then moved to Kerrville, TX with my husband.

This is my 13th year as a Spanish teacher. I am passionate about teaching my language and about my culture. I value teaching my students the importance of becoming citizens of the world and lifelong learners. I want my students to take risks, set their own goals on their journey to acquire a new language, and work hard to achieve their goals.  I love teaching Spanish 2 and then seeing familiar faces 2 years later in Spanish 4 AP. I am always impressed with how much their Spanish proficiency can improve in only 4 years!
