    2022-2023 ENROLLMENT/REGISTRATION INFORMATION

     

    Early Childhood Center (Pre-K and Head Start) Registration and Back to School Information

    Kerrville ISD’s Early Childhood Center is now accepting applications for its Head Start and Pre-Kindergarten programs. Applications are available at the Early Childhood Campus located at 1011 Third Street. For more information, call 257-1335. These programs are open to age and income eligible children living in the Kerrville ISD attendance zone. Children must be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1, 2022 and at least one of the following:

    -          Qualify for the school lunch program;

    -          Non-English speaking;

    -          McKinney-Vento Act;

    -          Active duty military; MIA/Injured or killed while on active duty;

    -          Foster care;

    -          In/was in conservatorship of TxDFPS;

    -          Qualified through the Special Education Department; or

    -          Receive SSI or TANF

     

    Elementary Registration and Back to School Information

    NEW TO KISD IN 2022-2023

    Parent Instructions for Pre-Registration 

    Students NEW to KISD will be registered August 1 & 2. Elementary students new to Kerrville will be registered at their home elementary school until the enrollment cap is reached.

    Registration for returning KISD students in grades 6-12 is done online. Once the online registration window opens, Log in to Skyward Family Access from the Kerrville ISD website, www.kerrvilleisd.net and click on Skyward under “quick links” or “helpful links” for more information on online registration. Instructions can be found in English and Spanish

     Tivy High School

     Antler Camp for all incoming freshmen will be Wednesday, Aug. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to Noon at Tivy High School. 

     Antler Camp provides introductory information to our new students and includes tour, campus specific daily information, clubs/organizations information, and helpful tips for students at high school.  Students will participate in outdoor activities; please wear tennis shoes and appropriate clothing for an outdoor activity. If your student will need assistance to participate. please call the school office.

    There will be a brief parent introductory meeting from 8:30 to 9:00 AM for incoming freshman parents. Parents will be released at 9 AM. Students will complete Antler Camp at 12 PM. It is not mandatory for parents; we hope to answer any questions you have about attending Tivy. We will post the information to the Tivy High School website for reference.

    Meet the Teacher/Schedule Pickup will be Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 4-6:30 p.m. at Tivy High School. 

    Meet the Teacher brings students and parents to campus for schedule pick-up and an opportunity to visit individual classrooms for the course syllabus, school supply lists, and visit with teachers and staff. Online enrollment verification must be complete to receive a schedule. A computer lab will be open and available to help complete enrollment through Skyward Family Access.
