    2018-19 ENROLLMENT/REGISTRATION INFORMATION

     

    Early Childhood Center (Pre-K and Head Start) Registration and Back to School Information

    Early Childhood Center Meet the Teacher – August 15th – 4-5:30pm for Pre-K Students, Head Start students will be by appointment only.

    Kerrville ISD’s Early Childhood Center is now accepting applications for its Head Start and Pre-Kindergarten programs. Applications are accepted year-round, but the district advises applications be submitted in April. Applications are available at the Early Childhood Campus located at 1011 Third Street. For more information call 257-1335. These programs are open to age and income eligible children living in the Kerrville ISD attendance zone. Children must be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1, 2018 and at least one of the following:

    -          Qualify for the school lunch program;
    -          Non-English speaking;
    -          Homeless;
    -          Active duty military; MIA/Injured or killed while on active duty;
    -          Foster care;
    -          In/was in conservatorship of TxDFPS;
    -          Identified as developmentally delayed; or
    -          Receive SSI or TANF

    New to KISD in 2018-2019

    Students new to a KISD attendance zone will be registered August 6th and 7th, 2018. Elementary students new to Kerrville will be registered at their home elementary school until the enrollment cap is reached.

    Elementary Registration and Back to School Information

    Elementary Attendance Confirmations July 31 & August 1

    Parents must call or visit their child’s school on July 31 or August 1 to confirm attendance at that school. If attendance is not confirmed at this time, the pre-registration will be pulled and the child may lose their spot at that campus. For more information, please contact your child’s elementary school.     **Registration for students NEW to the district or TRANSFER students is on August 6th. Please go to your child's elementary school to register.

    **Parents are encouraged to bring purchased school supplies on Meet the Teacher night for classroom drop off.

    6th – 12th Grade Registration and Back to School Information

    Registration for returning KISD students in grades 6-12 is done online. Log in to Skyward Family Access from the Kerrville ISD website, www.kerrvilleisd.net and click on Skyward under “quick links” or “helpful links” for more information on online registration. Instructions can be found in English and Spanish.

    Back-to-School events will be held at each campus in August. Please see details below.

     

    BT Wilson Sixth Grade School
    Online Registration opens August 1st. Computer labs at BTW will be available on August 1st and 2nd for anyone who might need assistance registering online.

    Wildcat Camp for Parents will be August 2nd from 10am-12 noon.

    Wildcat Nights will be August 14th (Jaguars), 15th (Bobcats), and 16th (Cougars), 5:30-7pm.

     

    Hal Peterson Middle School

    Online registration will be open August 1st – August 6th

    The Peterson Library will be open on Aug. 1-3 for parents that need to access a computer at school.

     7th Grade Schedule Pick Up – Aug. 6th

    Tour and Schedule Pick Up for 7th Graders that have completed online registration. Bring your immunization record and UIL Physical if scheduled for Athletics.

    8th Grade Schedule Pick Up – Aug. 7th

    Schedule pick up for 8th Graders that have completed online registration. Bring your UIL physical if participating in athletics.

     *Due to staff development, schedules will only be picked up on Aug. 6th & 7th.

    Wed. – Fri – Aug. 8th-10th – New Student Registration ONLY for students NEW to KISD, 8 am -3 pm

    Thursday, Aug. 9th – 6 pm Athletic meeting – Football will meet in the cafeteria, Volleyball in the library

    Thursday, Aug. 16th – 4 pm-7 pm – Football equipment pick up (Big gym)



    Tivy High School 
    Online registration opens August 1st. Limited computer availability and assistance for online registration will be available August 13th-17th. Please call ahead.

    **Students NEW to the district and participating in a Fall activity (athletics, band, cross country, etc.) can register on July 31st.

    Students NEW to the district can begin registering August 6th.

    The Tivy Front Office is open 8:30am - 12:30pm, and 1:30pm - 4:30pm beginning July 31st.

    Wednesday, August 8th - THS 9th GRADE ANTLER CAMP(all incoming 9th graders)
    8:30 am - 9 am Parent Informational meeting in the auditorium - General Tivy Info. 
    9 am - 12:00 pm Antler Camp activities begin (We will hike Tivy Mountain—please wear tennis shoes and shorts.)
    1:30 pm - 4 pm Counselors will be available for scheduling needs. 

    Wednesday, August 15th - 4:00-6:30 Meet the Teacher/Schedule Pick-up will include: 
    Labs available for completing online registration if needed. 
    Nurse will be available.
