Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH)

Kerrville ISD uses Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) as a relationship-based approach to support positive school cultures where students feel safe, connected, and ready to learn. In alignment with our mission as an educational leader in the heart of the Hill Country, inspiring all students to become lifelong learners and productive citizens, CKH focuses on building strong relationships, fostering mutual respect, and promoting social-emotional growth across our campuses.

Through intentional practices used consistently by staff, CKH helps create classrooms and schools where students are engaged, supported, and empowered to take ownership of their learning and behavior. By addressing the whole child, Capturing Kids’ Hearts supports academic success while helping students develop the skills they need to thrive in school and in life.
