C.A.R.E. - Character and Respect Everyday
Character Councils
Our elementary Character Councils are comprised of fourth and fifth grade student leaders who consistently and proudly demonstrate character and kindness toward others. The mission of this student group to promote positive character and peer-to-peer interactions across their campus through student engagement.
Morning Meetings:
Teacher-led classroom discussions help students consider and understand the true meaning behind their campus morning announcements, while additionally serving as a platform for teacher-student and peer-peer relationship building.
Classroom "Actions":
Teachers collaborate with and/or guide their students to develop campus "actions" that embody a specific character trait. The teacher and students then implement their character trait "action" on their home campus.
