Federal Programs

Title I Program

Title I, Part A, of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015, is a federal program that provides supplemental funding to schools that serve many students from low‑income families. These funds help schools offer additional resources, support, and learning opportunities so all students can succeed. The goal is to make sure every child—no matter their background—has access to a high‑quality education and can meet state learning expectations.

Kerrville ISD operates six school-wide programs on campuses housing grades Pre-K through 8th.
