CCMR
PreK-12 College, Career & Military Readiness
College, Career, and Military Readiness begins the day a child walks into KISD, and it grows with them every year after. From ECC through graduation, we are preparing every student, every step, every year.
Every Student. Every Step. Every Year.

College, Career, and Military Readiness doesn't start in high school. It starts the day a child walks into a KISD classroom for the first time, and it grows with them every year after that.
At Kerrville ISD, we believe CCMR is a journey, not a destination, and not a single event. From our earliest learners exploring what they want to be when they grow up, to our middle schoolers discovering their strengths and interests, to our high schoolers building the skills and credentials for what comes next, we are walking alongside every student and every family at every stage.
This year, thanks to the Empowered Graduates grant from the Moody Foundation, we are able to bring that vision to life in a whole new way. Families across our district will have access to workshops, digital resources, and advisory sessions designed to help you understand your child's path, ask the right questions at the right time, and feel confident and equipped as partners in their future.
Whether your child is in ECC or about to walk the stage, we want you to know this: readiness isn't something we hand students at graduation. It's something we build together, starting now.
