This course is designed to develop students’ career and college readiness skills through the study of technology applications. Students assess their roles in society, identify their roles as workers, and complete an exploration of the 16 career clusters. Students make informed decisions by understanding current and emerging technologies, including technology systems, appropriate digital tools, and personal learning networks. Information will be shared about college and career readiness, to include potential career choices and the education needed to enter those careers. This course will also prepare students for the transition into 9th grade.
