Weekly Assignments:
Please sign your child's Pride folder (red folder) every night. This will be our communication between school and home.
Your child will have READING homework each night Monday through Thursday beginning the first week of school. Two days a week a reading passage with questions to answer will be sent home. The other days your child will bring their library books home to read for fifteen minutes. Stamina is going to be very important this year with the STAAR test, and reading outside of school is crucial for their success.
Your child will have SPELLING homework each night Monday through Thursday beginning the first week of school. Inside their Pride folder will be where they keep their spelling packet. It needs to come back to school daily so that we may review it. The homework is as follows:
Monday: Three times each
Tuesday: ABC Order
Wednesday: Sentences with spelling words
Thursday: Pop Quiz for spelling & an editing review
