Hi!  I'm Mrs. Thorpe. I love Language Arts!!  This year, I will be teaching RLA, which is Reading/Language Arts.  It is my 10th year back at BT, but it will be my 20th year teaching. I have taught Language Arts, Texas History (which is ironic since I grew up in Minnesota!), and spent many years coaching in the schools. I still love to coach and now spend my time coaching my sons within our community here. 

I also love to spend time being active, being outdoors, and traveling.  My family is very important to me and I spend most of time doing my hobbies with my family.  My 2 boys, Aiden and Colton, keep me very busy! Half of my family still lives in MN, so it is a fun reason to travel! I also have a sister working in KISD at Peterson MS, Ms. Coronado. 

 
It will be exciting getting to know all of our 6th graders and learning about their interests and lives. We are going to have a great year!
