Welcome, Tally Eagles! My name is Megan Nichols! I grew up here in the Texas Hill Country where I attended school in Utopia and graduated in 2010. In May of 2014, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors of Science in Applied Learning and Development. I obtained my Masters of Education from Schreiner University in 2020. This is my 10th year teaching and my 6th year in KISD.

I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn in an nurturing environment that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and effective communication. I value teaching students the importance of taking risks and empowering students to have a growth mindset. I’m passionate about fostering a love for learning, as well as developing a close-knit community among the students in the classroom. I look forward to partnering with you to make this the best year yet!
