Howdy!

My name is Hunter Miller and I am the Challenge Lab Teacher at Tally Elementary! This is my 11th year teaching. I taught 2nd grade Math/Science/Writing for two years and 4th grade Science for two years in Cy-Fair Independent School District, outside of Houston. I taught 3rd grade Math here at Tally and I am in my sixth year in the Challenge Lab!

I was honored to represent Tally as the Teacher of the Year for the 2021-2022 school year. I am excited to continue as a member of the Challenge Lab team this school year. Together we are going to continue extending your learning and pushing you to challenge yourself! KISD will continue with our STEM initiative, allowing every student in KISD the opportunity to experience the wonderful world of STEM. I am excited as we will be doing a bunch of fun hands-on learning!

I am also the sponsor for Student Council, the District Coordinator for Elementary UIL, and the sponsor for our College Can CHANGE Your Life initiative.

My wife, Katie Miller, is the Assistant Principal at Herff Elementary in Boerne ISD. We love collaborating with each other to continue to better ourselves both inside and outside of the classroom. We have an awesome dog, Maya, and we love going to NASCAR races and college football games when we get the chance (Gig'em)!!
