Technology

Kerrville Independent School District has developed a robust technology infrastructure to meet the demands of student, staff and administrative technological challenges. The KISD Technology Department is responsible for the support, maintenance and development of the infrastructure and related technologies for the continual effort to supply students, staff and administration with the technology tools they need to meet the demands of our school district.

Kerrville Independent School District is committed to providing equal access to technology for all students and the integration of technology into all areas of curriculum. We believe that the use of technology in the classroom will significantly enhance the teaching learning process.
Technology will increase the productivity of the teacher in the workplace, the post-secondary technology preparedness of the students, the efficiency and productivity of administrative and support staff, and strengthen community, parental and school relationships

Kerrville Independent School District embraces a process of change that will create a technological atmosphere conducive to teaching and learning. It is our belief that leadership and professional development  should embrace the use of emerging and existing technologies in the classroom and that our efforts will transform the classroom and prepare students for a life of technological interaction.

Technology Support

If you have a technology related problem your first contact should be your campus technologist. If it is something your technologist can not help you with, they will enter a work order in Track-IT, our work order system. We will send a technician as soon as possible. If you have an immediate problem and can’t contact your campus technologist please call the Technology Office at 257-4883.
