ResolutionWHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 95-12,
the City of Kerrville (City) abandoned a portion of Barnett Street
and a portion of College Street at the request of Kerrville Independent
School District (KISD); and,
WHEREAS, in partial consideration for
such abandonment, KISD entered into a Realignment Contract on
June 13, 1995, the terms of which
exchange a portion of Stadium Drive for a tract of land located
across the current Antler Stadium parking lot; and,
WHEREAS, for
the purpose of meeting Federal Highway Administration requirements,
KISD wishes to dedicate right-of-way to the City
in association with the construction of Holdsworth Drive; and,
THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED, that the President and Secretary of the Board
of Trustees are authorized and directed to execute
the following
documents:
- Warranty
Deed for .70 acres adjacent to Stadium Drive,
- Warranty
Deed for .21 acres adjacent to Holdsworth Drive,
- Temporary
Roadway Easement for .51 acres adjacent to Stadium Drive,
- Temporary
Grading Easement for .065 acres adjacent to Holdsworth Drive.
