WHEREAS, the Kerrville Independent School District met in regular session on October 21, 2003 at 6:00 P.M.; and,

WHEREAS, the Kerr Central Appraisal District has sent a listing in alphabetical order the names of the candidates nominated by the entities entitled to make nominations for

KCAD Board of Directors for a two-year term; and,

WHEREAS, the governing body of each taxing unit entitled to vote shall determine its vote by Resolution and submit to the appraisal district by November 15, 2003;

WHEREAS, Section 6.03, Property Tax Code, established the selection process for the KCAD Directors, this process is not an “election” governed by the Texas Election Code, but an independent procedure unique to the property tax system.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of Trustees cast their 2,498 votes for:
