UPCOMING EVENTS
Tally Eagles Start Supper Ticket Sales
The annual Tally Elementary School Mexican Supper certificates fundraiser kicks off Friday, September 23rd. Students will be selling dinner tickets to Mamacita’s restaurant through October 7th. Certificates are $9.00 each and can be used in the restaurant Oct. 10th through April 30th for meals valued up to $12.50.
According to PTO Mexican Supper Chair Tory Risinger, Tally students work hard during the next two weeks to raise money for their school and to earn prizes for their efforts. Over the years, the Mexican Supper fundraiser has helped the Tally PTO purchase books, add new pieces to the playground every year, and purchase other items the campus cannot afford in the normal school budget.
Dinner certificates make great gifts for the holidays, birthdays, and can be purchased for neighbors, teachers, or friends as tokens of appreciation throughout the year. Tally students will be combing Kerrville in an effort to sell tickets before the Oct. 7th deadline. Community members can also contact the front office directly to purchase certificates at (830)257-2222.
