Tally Elementary PTO
Dear Tally PTO members,
Thank you for all your hard work this year! All of our PTO-sponsored events could not have been successful without your participation and dedication. This year, the PTO started the year with one of the most successful Mexican Supper fundraisers ever, raising approximately $25,000 for our school. We purchased many important classroom items, as well as a merry-go-round. This summer, pathways will be constructed from the cafeteria to the big playground and from the big playground to the track. A bench also will be installed for the teachers on the small playground.
Besides the fundraiser, you helped support luncheons, Thanksgiving pies and birthday brownies for our amazing staff; classroom holiday parties; six AR parties; two book fairs; and many, many other events!
I hope everyone has a safe and fun summer with your Tally Eagles, and I look forward to seeing everyone in the fall for our first PTO meeting on Sept. 10. Please mark your calendar for our first meeting and plan on joining us as we plan another great year for our school.

BOX TOPS & LABELS for EDUCATION
Shop online and earn Box Tops for Tally!
The Box Tops Marketplace(R) allows you to earn cash for Tally when you shop online. Start at the Box Tops Marketplace at boxtops4education.com. Click on the link to any one of the more than 250 online stores; you'll be automatically sent to that store's website. Shop and check out as you normally would and a portion of your qualifying purchase will be donated to your school.
How does it work?
To shop at the Marketplace, first you need to sign up online and designate Tally Elementary to support. Once you’ve signed up, simply start your online shopping at the Marketplace and you can earn up to 15 eBoxTops for your school with every $10 you spend; the amount you earn will vary according to the specific retailer. UPCOMING EVENTS
SLEEPING BAG DRIVE
It has come to the attention of the Tally PTO that some Tally students may not have adequate bedding or even, in some cases, a bed. So, the Tally PTO is currently collecting new sleeping bags for any Tally students in need. If you would like to make a donation, please drop a new sleeping bag off in the front office, and arrangements will be made to get your donation to a student in need. Thanks for making a difference!
Tally Eagles Supper Ticket Sales
Thank you all for your rhard work on the Mexican Supper Ticket sales! We made $66,714 which includes all ticket sales and underwriting. After expenses, Tally will receive $25,565 from Tally PTO!! Way to go Tally Eagles!
Our top ten sellers were Walker Grimes, Reagan Stanton, Race Risinger, Stoney Rhodes, Garrett Kleypas, Lawson Behrens, Jose Castro, Savannah Grinstead, Vivian Priour and Brianna Alcorta.
Our $1000 club and $500 club included Mackenzie Caraway, Jack Patterson, Leeann Broach, Demitri Dry, Travis White, Anna Dixon, Payne Marquez, Carson Grimm, Grace Carlson, Joe Mein, Cooper McKiddie, Joe Ortega, Cassie Kemmer, Brooke Sibert, Kindal Brown, Jonathan Hood, Savannah Foster, Austin Lane, Maykayla Foster, Brady Maguire, and Ethan Soth.
Over 90 Kids sold more than 30 tickets each, and earned a bowling party. Each top selling class has earned a Pizza party, and the top selling class for the whole school earned an ice cream party at Mamacita's. Congratulations!!
The top class in each grade was:
2nd--Mrs. Thomas; 3rd--Mrs. Givens; 4th--Mrs. Witt; 5th--Mrs. Cody.
Mrs Witt's Class was the top class for the whole school!
