Offering the highest starting teaching salary in the Hill Country, the attraction to the district is both compensation and camaraderie. Serving as a strong family unit, KISD was created solely to meet the needs of children in Kerrville. Our strength stems from the uniqueness of each individual team member.

From carpenter, mechanic, groundskeeper to secretary, aide, and administrator; everyone is invited to join in the mission to educate, feed, transport, and provide the learning environment our kids need to succeed.
