I was born and raised in Southern California but moved to Kerrville in 1986 and now consider it my home. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

I have 2 wonderful children; my son Justin is 28 years old, married and an attorney in San Antonio. My daughter Lauren is 19 years old and employed in the banking business. She will be getting married in June of 2009. They are both Tivy graduates.

My medical experience includes 5 years at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California and 4 years at Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. I have been a school nurse for 15 years. I started working for KISD in 1993 when we were the old Tivy Upper Elementary School, and since 2002 when we became BTW. With the great teachers, staff and students, I couldn't imagine myself working any place else.

I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, watching the San Antonio Spurs and traveling anywhere it's sunny and warm.
