HPMS tennis teams take 1st, 2nd at Uvalde tournament

Peterson Middle School tennis teams traveled to Uvalde Friday and Saturday, March 2-3, to participate in an Invitational Tennis Tournament. Out of seven teams attending the two-day tournament, HPMS 8th graders won the 1st place over all trophy. HPMS 7th graders won the 2nd place over all trophy.
“Match play was outstanding,” Molly Waldrop, HPMS Coach, said. “The team did a great job, and their sportsmanship was excellent.”
Their next competition is at the Kerrville Team tournament the week after Spring Break.
