Special Programs Overview
The Department of Special Programs is an arm of the Curriculum and Instruction Department. Special Programs seeks to enhance the school setting for all students and to meet the needs of special and diverse learners.
The goals of the Special Programs Department are:
- --To identify and service students with special and diverse learning needs

--To improve student success by providing necessary resources/assistance to teachers, administrators and parents to meet the needs of learners
- --To increase parent involvement in student learning by implementing effective parent involvement strategies
- --To ensure schools are safe and prepared for emergency response
