BACK ON TRACK
Starkey Elementary School celebrated the official opening of their newly-renovated and enlarged track and field on Friday, November 4th, at 8:15 a.m. The track renovation project was made possible by the generous donations from the Starkey PTO, the KISD Maintenance Department, and Steve Caraway of Texas Multi-Chem.

TIES THAT BIND
Assistant Principal Brad Harvey has been promoted to Director of Transportation. Bidding him a fond farewell, students and staff at Starkey wore neckties in his honor ~ a Harvey trademark~ and decorated the hallways with necktie notes wishing him luck in his new position and thanking him for his many years of service to the Starkey Scorpions.
