Rocket  Camps Start Soon in Comfort, Bandera, Boerne, Kerrville

Kids ages 8 to 12 will build and launch their own rockets at Club Ed's Shoot for the Stars rocket camp. Sign-up is now underway for the four-day camps that will be held in June. More information is available by calling 830-895-4386.

Kids ages 8 to 12 who have ever dreamed of reaching into space can begin their journey in June by taking part in one of Club Ed's Shoot for the Stars rocket camps.

The camps are being offered according to the following schedule:

Kids will design, build, and fly their very own model rockets, while learning the laws of motion and flight. Camps are conducted by college and high school students who have been trained by Brett Williams, developer of the Aero-Science/Rocket Program at Fredericksburg High School and director of the Fredericksburg Education Initiative.

Camp fee is $88 per child and includes all supplies, engines, and launch materials. Parents and family members are welcome to come the final day to watch the launch.
