Final Bad Weather Make Up Day Scheduled

A reminder to all Kerrville Independent School District (KISD) parents and students that the KISD Board of Trustees approved the plan to make up the three days missed January 16th-18th due to inclement weather and safety issues.

May 31st will be a regular school day for all students on all campuses.  Classes will start and dismiss at the regular times.  The bad weather day was already built in the 2006-2007 district calendar and will be used as such to make up for instructional days lost.

January 16th was made up on February 19th and May 31st will make up for Januray 17th.  Approval to excuse the additional day of January 18th has been formally requested to the Texas Education Agency (TEA), upon approval by the School Board of Trustees at the January 23rd meeting.
