Houseal helped establish the Foundation in 1997, and has served on its board of directors during that time. The Foundation's mission is to encourage the growth of community education in the state by establishing new programs in local communities. Each year the Foundation awards grants and gives technical expertise to up to three new programs. More information on the Texas Community Education Association is available at www.tcea.com. |
Phil Houseal, Director of the Kerrville ISD Community Education, was reelected President of the Texas Community Education Foundation at the organization's state conference held in Fredericksburg on April 22-24.
