THS Counselors To Offer Orientation For 8th Grade Students

On Thursday, February 22, the Tivy High School Counseling staff and teachers will be hosting an orientation for all 8th grade students who will enter high school in the fall. All 8th grade students and their parents are strongly encouraged to attend to help make the transition from 8th grade to high school as smooth as possible.

The general assembly will begin at 6:00 PM in the theatre of Tivy High School, 3250 Loop 534, Kerrville.

The general assembly will include information about pre-registration, graduation plans and credit requirements. After the general assembly, students and parents will go to the cafeteria where they will have the opportunity to visit with the teachers from every department and receive information about courses and course offerings at Tivy High School. Counselors and Assistant Principals will also be on hand to answer any questions.

Refreshments will be served.
