State of the Schools Breakfast |
Release Date : May 15, 2007
The EEE Campaign is the first of its kind for the Kerrville Public School Foundation. Through this campaign, the Foundation will be supporting the Kerrville Independent School District by providing a stipend for an innovative Science Chair followed soon by a Math Chair. This endowment will also supply finds for Advanced Placement Rewards at the high school and training for teachers to become nationally certified. At the breakfast, Dr. Dan Troxell, KISD Superintendent, presented a very informative presentation on the “State of the Schools” and extended his personal thanks to the KPSF and to the Friends of the Foundation for their generous financial support of KISD along with support in various endeavors within the district. Anita Grisebaum, Vice President of Community Relations for KPSF said, “I left the breakfast so thankful my children attend Kerrville Public Shcools. I’m excited to work as a board member for a Foundation in a district that cares so deeply about our children. A permanent recognition plaque has been designed and will be placed in the foyer of KISD Central Office upon completion of the EEE campaign. The permanent recognition plaque is the Foundation’s way of saying “thank you” to those donors who have made, and continue to make these goals into reality. Anyone interested in making a donation to the EEE Campaign and having their name on a permanent plaque or finding out more about the Kerrville Public School Foundation may do so by contacting Barbara Johnston, Executive Director, at 257-9282, or by visiting the website at www.kerrvilleisd.net/foundation. |
