Who We Are
The Kerrville Public School Foundation, an independent,
501(c)(3) non-profit corporation promoting quality education
in Kerrville ISD schools, was established in 1987 with a
primary purpose of supporting innovative teaching programs. It was organized exclusively for educational
purposes to provide supplemental funds for educational and scientific programs
or activities for the Kerrville Independent School District. Specifically,
the Kerrville Public School Foundation seeks and distributes funds to support
programs and initiatives to further enhance learning for public school students
in the Kerrville community. Contributions are
tax deductible as defined by the Internal Revenue code.

To be the principal
non-profit organization dedicated to providing funds through
community support for academic excellence in the Kerrville
Independent School District.
Our Mission
The mission of the Kerrville
Public School Foundation is to serve as a catalyst for involving
the community in the enhancement and achievement of academic
excellence for the children of Kerrville ISD by providing
financial assistance not available through state or local
funding.
In order to accomplish its mission, the Foundation encourages
contributions for current programs and the endowment. The
Foundation plans and administers all programs in cooperation
with the school district.

Our Goals
- To encourage academic excellence in the Kerrville Independent
School District by providing funds not available through
local, state or federal sources.
- To provide a perpetual source of funds for current and
future Foundation programs that are in alignment with the
District’s Strategic Plan.
- To increase community involvement in the support and
improvement of the quality of education students receive.
The financial goal of the Foundation is
to build a $500,000 endowment by the year 2010.
