Activities:

The Student Council has been organized in order to provide our students with an opportunity to practice their leadership skills and to prepare themselves for the future as productive citizens. They learn the importance of caring for those less fortunate as well as taking responsibility for their school and fellow classmates.

Members participate in working in our after-school store. Profits from this activity will be contributed to the beautification of our campus.

FALL SEMESTER

Our most exciting activity is sponsoring the can drive for our local food bank. In 2006, more than 1500 cans were collected by the Student Council and then donated to the Christian Assistance Ministry Food Bank.

SPRING SEMESTER

In the early part of our 2007 spring semester, our Student Council sponsored the Pennies for Patients Campaign which raises money through donations for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The campaign brought in over $1,420 thanks to the hard work of our Student Council.

During the spring, the Student Council organizes our annual talent show, where our amazing students get to share some of their wonderful gifts and talents.

All in all, Student Council provides an opportunity for students to work for their school and their community and have fun while they do so.
