GIFTED AND TALENTED ASSOCIATION

Kerrville ISD 5th grader, Curtis Forster, from Tom Daniels Elementary School is the recipient of a summer program scholarship from the Texas Association for the Gifted & Talented (TAGT). TAGT Summer Scholarships are designed for those gifted and talented students who wish to attend academic or artistic programs during the summer months. Gifted students, grades K-12, may apply for scholarships of up to $400.
Only 62 students received awards out of 288 applicants. Forster plans to use his scholarship to attend the Aquatic Science Adventure Camp at Texas State University in San Marcos.
The Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT) provides educational services for educators and parents who are dedicated to meeting the unique social, emotional, and intellectual needs of gifted and talented students.
