Our purpose is to educate all students to be successful and productive citizens in a way that meets parent and community expectations.

We do this by pursuing continual improvement in curriculum and instruction, maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment, and supporting leadership dedicated to excellence.

ART DEPARTMENT TREATS STUDENTS TO PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
Art teacher Bridget Putman offered the Tivy High School Library a Halloween treat as pumpkins from the 1st Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest were on display Oct. 30th - 31st.  Over two dozen pumpkins were entered and the winners were selected by a mystery judge.  Placing first was Rachel Bauman, second went to Michael Thuente, and Justin Hunt's pumpkin came in 3rd.

TWENTY-FOUR STUDENTS EARN THE DESIGNATION OF AP SCHOLAR BY THE COLLEGE BOARD

Twenty-four students at Tivy High School have earned the distinction of AP Scholar by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) Program.  Students took AP Exams in May 2008 after completing challenging college-level courses.  To view student list and level of award, click here.
