Fred H. Tally Elementary
School is home to Tally Eagle Pride. We are the newest member of the Kerrville Independent School
District elementary team. Established in 2002, the school opened
its doors to Pre-K through 5th grade students. It has been a
wonderful experience, and we are excited about our future.
Currently, Tally serves about 530 students from the surrounding
community. Programs include a balanced curriculum based in
reading and math. Emphasis is given to studies in science,
social studies, art, music and physical education.
In addition, our students are provided opportunities each
day to participate in Tally's special programs. These offerings
include Spanish, Orchestra, Challenge Lab, Community Problem
Solvers and Accelerated Reading and Math. Tally has been rated
as a "Exemplary" campus by the Texas Education Agency. There
is tremendous involvement by our parents and community. Together
we are making great things happen for our children. Tally Eagles
are "soaring" to success each day!

A check was presented to Carlotta Schmittgen, Relay for Life Coordinator and Sherri Baker, Kids For A Cure at the academic awards assembly held April 18th. Tally students filled film canisters with coins for a period of eight days and every student participating in the fundraiser signed a star that will be placed on the banner the student council will parade at this week's Relay for Life at Antler Stadium. Top contributors include: Mrs. Hitt's 3rd grade class and Mrs. Wrigge's 5th grade class with $252.00 each. |
