serves kindergarten through fifth grade students.
With an enrollment of approximately 612, ethnic distribution is 48% white,
48% Hispanic, 3% black, and 1% oriental.
Approximately 60% of the students are served through the federal
free/reduced lunch program.
School Mission
The staff at Tom Daniels Elementary School accepts
the responsibility for the development of essential academic knowledge in all
students. We also commit ourselves to helping students develop positive
self-esteem, responsibility for themselves and concern for others, the ability
to function as a self-directed learner, positive citizenship traits, and the
ability to think effectively. Instruction will be characterized by
quality, equity, and accountability.
