Welcome to Tom Daniels Elementary School, where
we believe in active learning, a success-oriented curriculum, and
a climate of character, respect, and responsibility.
Our instructional program focuses on the acquisition of basic
reading, writing, and mathematical literacy for all students. We
accomplish this through integrated instruction, where all skills
are reinforced through team projects and shared studies.
Our Character Counts character education program has enhanced
the school climate and increased understanding, caring, and concern
among students. “Pride” folders, a student behavior
report to parents, are sent to parents weekly.
Tom Daniels Elementary School serves kindergarten through fifth
grade students, with an enrollment around 600 students.
We are proud of our school, and invite you to share that pride!

DANIELS STAFF
RECEIVES SPIRITED WELCOME
Welcomed back by Spirit the Mustang mascot and new principal
Amy Billeiter, teachers at Tom Daniels Elementary filed into
the campus library on Monday, August 18th, with hugs smiles,
and laughter. New teachers met Spirit for the first
time and the entire staff was introduced to members of the
Daniels family, Tom Daniels and son Tommy Daniels, as they
personally welcomed teachers back to school and shared
inspirational stories about their father and grandfather,
the school's namesake, Tom F. Daniels, a longstanding
educator and KISD principal. The Daniels family
thanked teachers for dedicating their lives to children in
Kerrville and for keeping the Daniels family and entire
community proud of the accomplishments of this staff and
students on this campus.

Tom Daniels Elementary welcomes five new teachers and
three new paraprofessionals to their campus. Teachers
will continue to meet and work on campus throughout the week
and are preparing for Meet the Teacher Night, scheduled for
