Student Council Raises Money for American Cancer Society

    During April, the B. T. Wilson Student Council worked very hard to raise money for the American Cancer Society and the Walk of Life. Student Council representatives designed posters advertising the various activities scheduled.

    They collected money from teachers who wanted to pay to wear jeans to school and charged students 50 cents for the chance to wear hats and sunglasses in class.

    Our final fundraiser of the month was a delicious one. Students donated baked goods from home and Student Council sold them during lunch. It was a very successful fundraiser.

    Our Student Council officers are very proud of our contribution to such an important cause.
