2006-2007 Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) Report:

The AEIS Report offers a wealth of information on the performance of each school in each district in Texas; this annual report is released to districts and to the public in late fall.

Among the data found in the report, AEIS performance indicators include the passing rates for the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) and the Texas Assessment of Academic Skills (TAAS); the State-Developed Alternate Assessment (SDAA) performance; district/campus attendance rates; percentage of graduates in a district; Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) exam results; Texas Academic Skills Program (TASP) equivalency rates; SAT and ACT participation and results; and a report on any violence and/or criminal incidents. District and campus operating budgets, as well as staff, student, and program information are also included.
